What do YOU think?

Hello friends! So far on this blog I've offered a lot of information, and shared a lot of my own opinions. However, I am very curious to hear more from all of you! What is your favorite eco-friendly household/baby product? Did you make it yourself? Is it WAHM-made? I'm especially curious to hear about your experiences with things I haven't tried yet, like baltic amber teething necklaces, top-loading HE washing machines, high-tech baby carriers like the Ergo, family cloth, backyard gardens, "gray water" buckets in the shower or under the rain gutters... anything you've tried that maybe you've really loved or found useful! Or even anything you've tried and hated. Leave a comment here on this blog post and your thoughts might even be featured in a new blog post! With your permission, of course!

Also, don't forget to enter my Eco Sprout detergent giveaway, open until 8/06! At this point, the odds of winning are still pretty good, so take a chance!

Thank you all for continuing to follow this blog.  Let the sharing begin! :-)

  2. Thanks for the follow. We love our veggie garden. The girls really like helping take care of it. We have also made our own rain barrels.

  3. I love my Ergo. Today we used it to go for a walk and my 2 year old fell asleep on my back. The baby has fallen asleep in it on many occasions. My favorite use for it at the moment is to hold one of the kids while I'm doing meal prep. That way I can snuggle and interact with him or her and still get supper on the table.

  4. @Lisa, thanks for hosting the hop! I'll try to make a point of visiting again. :-)

@RaisingGreen, I can't wait to make rain barrels and have a garden to water with them! It's so great that you can do that!

@Emily, that sounds awesome. I so want one. Maybe if one pops up on Freecycle...and I get to it first! :-)

  5. I use a baltic amber teething necklace for my son and I think that it really helps to take the edge off when he's teething. I also love using my Ergo - it is a great way to hold my son and still have my hands free (esp since he loves to be "up" with mama).

Thanks so much for following my blog from the green blog hop! I'm following you back as well now! :)

    Have a great day!

  6. I'm super obsessed with DIY cosmetics right now, but the hilariously simple kind. My new favorite is a face mask made out of one tablespoon of baking soda mixed with two tablespoons of water. So simple, and so effective.

  7. @ Claire - I love those, too. Baking soda mixed w/ a bit of peroxide is great acne control if used a couple of time/week. I also love a mask I found that is powdered clay, to mix it up you use organic apple cider vinegar. Oh! It's heaven on your face, especially if the vinegar came from the fridge. =)

@Eco Mom - Thank you so much for sharing all of the information on your blog. I love the homemade formula ideas, the baby food recipes and everything else. Awesome blog!
